After a devilsome breakfast in Big Bear Lake, we gathered our stuff and hitched back to the trail. Our drivers’ told us ghost stories based on the local closed gold mines, stating that if hikers are too loud during full moon nights, ghouls snatch them up never to be seen again. Dope. Putting that aside we warmed our trail legs once again on the gentle climbs passing said mines with no clue of impending death 👌. The trail found it’s way to woodland once more where we took some rest alongside a river listening to some hiker trash chatting round the corner. Lo and behold it was Panda and Jungle Law…how did they get in front of us?! Needless to say we ended our day early chatting the evening away and settling down alongside the stream.
